Highlights from our October Program!

 

In October, our speakers at Jackson Elementary included CalTech student leader, Anthony Chen, and several undergraduate student volunteers from CalTech!  The students built skyscrapers out of newspaper with prizes for tallest skyscraper and most creative skyscraper.  The kids also each chose a book to take home for more reading.  The wonderful people from the Tom Sawyer Camp also led the kids in games!  Special thanks to all of our volunteers, both leaders and readers!  The kids had a great time!  Our next program will be November 5th.  Please click the 'Get Involved' tab if you would like to volunteer.
